Sypron
I'm trying to rexture a nightsade plant for a mod, but somethings going wrong. I've got the texture right, but when I put it on the model crazy stuff happens. Could someone get my texture and put it in the model for me? The model is called meshes\plants\floranightshade01. Don't worry about normal maps, i've got that on my computer. Please also tell the model to find the texture in: textures\DBM\ as that is where all the art for my mod will go. Vagrant0
This should work right, can't think of any reason why it wouldn't. The reason why you may have had some problems could have been due to trying to use a .bmp file instead of a .dds. The alpha isn't preserved within a .bmp. Also, don't forget changing the color of the ingrediant if you plan to add that part. Hope I didn't ruin it for someone else who was trying hard to get this done. :)
Sypron
Thanks a bundle Vagrant. I tried converting it to a dds, but that didn't help. Also, I've already done the ingredient part. I'll be sure to put you into the credits.

Trying to convert it might lead to a different alpha and a plant that doesn't look right. For most retexturing jobs, you're usually best off doing it like this since many things, like size are maintained. No credit is needed, you did the file, I just pointed out the problem you were having.
Sypron
Credit needed indeed. I've been having senseless errors for AGES. I tried getting the model you did just now and changing the file path for the texture, but then the CS couldn't find the MODEL. I tried using a different program (tr instead of nifskope) and then it came out purple. Its a really anoying process, I may have to download gimp.
