Right now I'm modding the Merc Charmer outfit. I've done some changes to the model, and i'll be doing a complete retexture as well (but I will reuse the merc charmer normal maps). I'm working on an arm right now and I figured it would save a lot of effort if I mirrored the arm once it is done, especially since I don't care for the geometry of the other arm (and changes to geometry might not match the normal map). So what I am asking is this: if I were to mirror the arm in blender, what do I need to do, and what do I need to know? I mean, I just am not knowledgable enough to know the ramifications of mirroring an arm to replace the one I don't want.

You would need to rig the new arm thats pretty much it, but make sure you use the modifier drop menu to mirror.
