Ghoulz
Say I want to make 2 silence spells from a new ID. First one is 6 seconds and is apprentice, the second is 12 seconds for journeyman. Once the partner reaches 50+ in Illusion, will they start using the advanced spell and totally ignore the old one? Or is it possible to make the 12 second silence spell apprentice? I seen a 71 magicka cost ranged paralize spell that was apprentice on a custom partner, but I don't know how they made it apprentice. And can you just make a custom set for them to use as a standalone? Or do they need one of those LL1majorlvl100, ect?
fg109
I'm not sure if they totally ignore the old one, but I don't think so. It's possible to make the 12 second spell apprentice level. To change the skill level and mana cost without any restrictions, just un-tick the auto-calculate checkbox when you edit the spell. It's not necessary to have LL1DestructionAllMajor100, etc. if you don't want your partner to have any of those spells. It's alright to make a custom set if you wish. In order to make your custom partner ignore the old spell and use the new spell, I think you're going to have to add the spells to a leveled spell list. Then instead of giving the individual spells to your partner, you should give the leveled spell.
Ghoulz
I guess I should make my own leveled spell lists. Cause I want my partners to have weaker damage and summon spells. They kill enemies on hard faster than I do and my custom spells have way higher damage on them :psyduck:
