The only stuff I can see that has to do with changing ability name/text is specifically for concealment or for dealing with grenades renaming the throw ability for different grenade templates. Lucubration Posted March 16, 2016 Share Posted March 16, 2016 I was looking at XComGameState_Ability.GetMyFriendlyName() and XComGameState_Ability.GetMyHelpText(optional XComGameState_Unit Unit). It seems those methods have some special handling for overriding the displayed text for the Throw Grenade and Launch Grenade abilities with different grenade types.
