GothikaGeist
I had the same exact problem before all the things were the same as your post  SOME ONE PLEASE HELP!!Uninstall all mods that remove tumbleweeds, as the first tumbleweed that rolls by when leaving the Doc's house is scripted, breaking the game.Type "enableplayercontrols" in the console. lordbevan1
I've tried all of these and it still won't work. It was working fine until I installed the new NVSE version to get a mod to work. I tried downgrading and still nothing. I think it is a script issue, since I also can't find the Radio New Vegas signal, nor does the screen get all bright when exiting Doc Mitchel's house. Please help. EDIT: Just looked. I had a tumbleweed removing mod installed. deleted it completely, fingers crossed it works. EDIT: welp, the problem's gone. Now it crashes on start-up, but I figure I can just re-install the game if nothing else works. Edited December 21, 2016 by lordbevan1

SnowWhispers
I have this problem as well. But I don't have any remove tumbleweed mods. (I have some that ADD plants but that is it) Any other suggestions?

(I have some that ADD plants but that is it) Any other suggestions? You could just type "enableplayercontrols" in the console, without quotations.Although this will not actually fix the scripted tumbleweed if that is indeed the case, but should allow you to continue playing the game. dubiousintent
And what did you try? What is different about your load order and system than the original post? "It's broke" doesn't tell us anything to help you as it isn't for most people. There is something particular to your setup that broke it. Start by reading the "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. If you haven't got a good foundation for the vanilla game, then you will only get confused by adding mods into the mix. If you can't pin down the cause of your problem, then you will need to start by re-installing the game (outside of the "C:\Program Files" folder tree) anyway, and then you can install and test each mod one at a time to isolate the one(s) giving you a problem. -Dubious- Edited February 12, 2017 by dubiousintent

dubiousintent
Instead of resurrecting an old thread (in violation of Nexus "Terms of Service") which apparently did not provide you with a solution, please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article in a new thread. Don't forget to identify things that do not appear in the "load order", such as the version of Windows, if you are using a "Steam" or "GOG" and/or "regional language version" of the game (even if you are playing it in English); using the FNV4GB Patch, NVSE and it's related plugins; replacements for textures (specifically their larger image sizes: 1024x1024, etc.), animations, or "bodies", etc.; and "post-processors" like ENB or SweetFX. It saves us playing "20 questions" and gets you a more specific answer more quickly. (The usual turn-around on post and reply in an older game forum is 24 hours.) Screenshots of the "load order" don't usually work so well because they tend to cut off or fail to display needed information and are hard to "piece together" into a complete and coherent picture.* See "How to markup images (etc) in forum posts and comments" article for how to use "Spoiler tags". "LOOT" already includes those tags in the "load order" it copies to your clipboard, so you can just paste it's list into your post.-Dubious-
