Lateralizm
Could someone please upload the standalone Barbers and Coiffeuses DLC files?? Steam users havent received it yet...You are supposed to just patch it with cdprojekts patch, you have to go to there site and download it. Plus, I don't think it is legal for us to put it up here. I dont see why it would be illegal as its free to download content and the patch is widely available on many websites. Im just asking for the actual DLC files the patch installs so i can drop them in my cookedpc folder since I am a steam user with no patch in sight. Lateralizm
You realize even if someone just gives you the files they won't work right? It will only work with the new patch. Did you try to patch it with the one from CDProjekt's witcher wesite? Because from what I heard the new patch no longer has DRM protection or anything of the sort so it would not matter where the game was obtained, you would still be able to use it. I DID NOT pirate this game, I simply am just an internet wanderer who picks up things.. (Yes staff, I understand the problems with pirating.) (Yes staff, I understand the problems with pirating.) website patch is not compatible with steam version. it says "version not recognized" or something to this effect. Why would the dlc files not work without the patch? im sure they are in your cookedpc folder as a dzip that im sure would work with 1.1.
Lateralizm
They don't work without the patch because the patch is what verifies that dlc. Without that patch there is no code to tell it what to do. Also, if that is what it is saying I might know what the problem is. Plenty of people get that error and it is because the had some sort of DLC for the witcher and when trying to install that patch if it finds any DLC files it just shuts down. Let me know if you have any and i will tell you what to delete from cookedPC folder. The patch includes all DLC so it doesn't matter if you get rid of them. Lateralizm
For whatever reason, when there are files for any DLC in the cookedPC folder, the patcher says something like incomplete game version or invalid or something. So, my suggestion is to delete any DLC you have currently, and then try running the patch again. It should work, if not you should actually probably move those dlc over to another folder just in case.
