Predator armor issue

So, until a few days ago, my game played fine with the mods I had... but I decided to try an ironman playthrough and encountered an odd issue. When I purchased the Predator armor upgrade, it took my supplies but did not give me the armor. I can only assume this is a mod-related issue with either a conflict between mods or an issue with the most recently downloaded mods.

My most recently installed mods were Flank Preview, Necromancer Class, Show enemies on mission planning, and the Halo Reach weapons pack. Is anyone aware of any issues with those mods, or potential conflicts I did not notice when installing them? Also, I attempted to locate the mod which allows me to load saves with removed mods in attempts to test which mod is the culprit, but I could not locate it, and am just realizing that could very adversely effect an ironman save. Is there a solid method to troubleshoot this without bricking my save or having to play through the whole game to the point of error? Thanks in advance

Somewhere I had found a list of the mods which were broken by the patch, but I cannot find it again. The way that items upgrade was changed in the game source code. So any mod which has item upgrades, and hasn't been updated since the patch, is probably broken. You may try taking a look at the steam update page for your mods. Look for any mod with item upgrades, which hasn't been updated since the patch date. Try removing that mod (and fixing with the "ignore missing mods" mod).

Weird, because I use "Armor Stat Customizer", which also has the option to add the extra Utility Slot to any armor in it's .ini file. But it still works after the patch, except that the 4 soldiers from the first mission and any that are 'starting soldiers' already in the Barracks, have to have the armor re-equipped - i.e even though they are already wearing Kevlar, you have to go into loadout, and click on Kevlar again to get the Utility slot to show up. Any soldiers recruited after the first mission are fine.
