Ad reporting functionality

The main problem I've been having is autoplaying video ads. Most of them don't have sounds (thank goodness) but they tank my browser's frame rate (three second delays inbetween frames is NOT acceptable) and eat up a lot of bandwidth unnecessarily. Edited by ramare

Just tired to support the website by disabling my ad blocker, First thoughts what a mistake! All was fine, Till i left NMM downloading a few mods in the background, I left the Nexus website up as i intended to go back and use the website after the downloads had finished. Then out of no where i got an autoplay audio ad, Advertising an Android Game. First off it scared the crap out of me as i was unaware of where it was coming from, Then i relized it must have been an Ad on my browser. Resulting in me instantly closes the Nexus website.... Surly this isnt what your looking for your users to do right? Now my issue with the Ads mainly is the fact, The Ads are not per-page Ads, They refresh the Ads on the page endlessly. And i personally think this needs to be addressed ASAP. My main question though would be, Why would you allowing such intrusive ads to be hosted on your website?

Hopefully, yeah. Maybe I should have worded my op a little bit differently; granted. It's that Nexus is trying to combat this issue which makes my decision to disable ad blocker warranted. Not too many sites would be willing to do this. It's a pet hate of mine when websites have obnoxious ads.

Personally, I don't mind ads. However, I have been living out in the middle of nowhere, and the only internet I can get is satellite based. I have a limit of actual data that goes up and down. 15 gb a month goes really fast when you get auto-playing video ads. One day I went through 40 articles, 10 of which I had to click "next" to get to another section. I went through 2 gb that day because of ads. I have since been using an ad blocker. IF the video ads wouldn't load automatically, I would gladly turn off AdBlock.

Not to mention the ones that crash flash. I have had that happen so many times it's not even funny any more

My own experience is this is a web wide issue... and have noticed it more so on Firefox. I put it down to both Flash support being dropped and possibly Windows muscling in thier API all over the place.

I had the same ad play 3 times at the same time about Dave and Buster's a second apart from each other. My ears are better off on full volume watching a PewDiePie playthrough of Amnesia.
