Â To fit the theme I would give them concealment (I don't even know if that is possible for enemy). Basically; when you encounter them they would enter concealment and pick a cover spot. So unless you flank them, you don't know where they are. Which would be pretty much how the "Alien" movie was. Â Random grenades / Scanners / Dashing your ranger could be a counter.
