Water Artifacts with Morrowin Graphics Extender 3.8.0

UPDATE - Mods, you can delete this thread if you'd like. I resolved the issue by re-installing a newer version of MGE (3.8.1 rev120) and using the Improved Water Shader (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23606) Specifically, I did this:

1. Delete the Morrowind registry keys and all MGE files

2. Temporarily disable User Account Control

3. Run Morrowind

4. Extract MGE and the updated water shader

5. Run MGE and run the distant land wizard

5. Re-enable UAC

6. Run Morrowind

I'm guessing it was either my videocard drivers, or simply an outdated shader causing the artifacts. Either that, or the newer shader does a good job of masking them. Regardless, it looks beautiful now.

First of all, I apologize if this is not the appropriate forum for this.

I recently installed MGE and everything looks beautiful. However, there are artifacts (lines) in my water at, what appears to be, a predetermined point. I initially thought it was related to distant land reflections because disabling them reduces the effect. However, I am beginning to doubt that's the real problem. Do I need to turn up the draw distance for a certain part of distant land? Should i try another version of MGE, or a different water shader? (Note: I was not able to install any version of MGE on SourceForge but I can install the one from TESNexus). I am wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this. If so, do you have any suggestions for reducing it or removing it altogether?
