Fallout 4 crashes when i bring up my pip-boy

While disabling all plugins doesn't work, i manage to get it working again by disabling DEF_UI under MODS tab.

I just disable anything that related to pipboy ( texture mod included) and in the User interface section (NMM)

And now it's working

Just to input, in case anyone reads all this in the future, I had the same problem and I fixed it by deleting the files in the '/Data/interface' folder. Apparently some files were left over even after I've disabled all the UI mods. Hope this helps!

I know im mad late But I had a similar issue I want to confirm that the above method works 110% remove def UI if you have it. And then delete everything in the above folder^^^^^ You are a life saver.

The advice here saids delete everything in Data/Interface

 

Among the many mods I use (which are mostly textures, weapon/armor mods, and settlement mods) there are a few I'm worried about.

 

Pipboy customisation framework

Satelite World Map

Zoom-Out Extended

Valdacil's Item Sorting

Def_UI (which evidently I need to remove?)

Full Dialogue Interface

 

Those are the only ones I can think of that chances any interfaces.

 

Edit: I forgot to add whats in my data/interface folder

 

Data/Interface:

Components [folder]

dialoguemenu.swf

multiactivemenu.swf

Pipboy_MapPage.swf

 

Data/Interface/Components:

VaultBoys [folder] > Perks [folder] > a bunch of "PerkClip_#x#x#.swf"s

I can confirm that uninstalling the ui mods, removing the Interface folder then reinstalling them worked great! i was pulling my hair out and spend 6 hours on this before i found this forum topic

Hi Guys

i have a similar bug i play Fallout4 now since relaease on the Xbox1 first, cause my PC wasnt strong enough to handle it. Now i have a new strong baby beside me who grants me every wish. So eitherway

whenever i start to play Fallout4 i can only reach the exact part where i get my Pipboy after the Pipboy started my game chrashes and here is why i need help it only happens wehn i enable mods in the .ini files

like:

bEnableFileSelection=1

[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=

so now heres my question what do i have to do to play this beauty with mods cause thats the main reason i got it for PC though its a great game
