threedees
I like it :D Have you applied a mesh or turbo smooth to it though? If so take it off. It makes the mesh's poly count higher than it needs to be and gives it a round "bubbley" look. Use smoothing groups instead (if you are using 3dsmax) or split the mesh up (if you are using blender). Apart from that keep up the good work.
floggingmolly22
Cool armor :D i think that you should make the spikes sharper, and add a little more of that red color. maybe like a red insignia (?) on the other shoulder pad.
IonDune
Cool armor :D i think that you should make the spikes sharper, and add a little more of that red color. maybe like a red insignia (?) on the other shoulder pad. Yes, the spikes are kind of lame. No true necromancer would wear spikes that couldn't hurt a kitten. More pointy-ness! Also, on a whole the armor is looking kind of smooth and bland. I recommend you add a lot of small details, and make it a lot more rough-looking.
Donnchadh7266
Thank you to everyone who has replied so far and I have made some adjustments. Originally the spikes where pointed yet they where curved backwards and the angle of the shot did not show them well enough yet they have been changed are more pointed and thinner at the base. I have also roughened the cuirass as you can see below to give it more of a malnourished body look. As for the gauntlets & boots I have a strong idea of what to do yet the helmet is eluding me. I was thinking along the lines of a skinned face pinned to the front of a helmet with hair draping down from the top of it. http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa158/Donnchadh7266/newmesh10.jpghttp://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa158/Donnchadh7266/newmesh11.jpg if you have any more suggestions or criticism then please post them as I want this armor to be believable as possible.
