sangheili1024
For screenshot purposes, I'd like a full moon in the sky. Is there a way to force a certain phase of the moon, either through a console command or a script? If not, I guess I can just spam the wait function until it moves to the correct phase. drakeelvin
I never did much research on this but for awhile I was doing a lot of screenshots and I observed the appearance and disappearance of the moon was unpredictable. The Mojave being southern Nevada one would expect the moon to be anywhere from right overhead to a bit south, rise in the east and set in the west. But it ain't so. It seemed to me to sometimes appear out of thin air then travel a bit then it could just wane and disappear into thin air again. And I often observed it on the Northern horizon ... very strange. Perhaps it was The Great War, the impact of all those H-Bombs going off, that knocked the earth on its keister so the planet wobbles and rotates in different ways than it did before. Or perhaps it was someone at Obsidian getting confused over their astrophysics equations. Maybe Mr. House knows, he's good at calculations and predictions :D Bottom line, setup in your spot and just wait for a good appearance. p.s. A great place to wait for a good full moon shot is right under the Lucky 38 looking almost straight up. If it appears close after sunset or close before sunrise its amazing! sangheili1024
Really? Well, that's...odd. I'll try what you suggested, but if it proves to be too big of a pain in the ass I might just shoot it without the moon and add it in in GIMP.
Kodiak412
FWIW I too have not been able to see any rhyme or reason to the phases of the moon. One day its a crescent and then the next its full. Its pot luck what you will get.
