I know the number is infinite for the size and power of the machine Which is a contradictory statement.

Example: 1. In the game fo3, Just outside megaton, there is a house that is for a retired lady of the evening, a blond lady I can't remember the NPC name. In front of the house there is no mail box. Installing night vision sunglasses << also Contradictory item name }} Places a Special mailbox there. I placed 100 renamed esp's of that mod #01 through 0100 and it took over an hour to obtain each pair from that box.

 

Each time you open the box, there is only one pair there. But when carefully maneuvering the cursor at the box, it shows another one there.

On a much smaller platform, Machine with 2 gig's of ram. 100 was the limit. On a much larger machine ...it was endless.

 

This is a testament to Cyber manipulation with in the molding world. You can not physicality see this anomaly but it does exist and you can test this all you want. This will give you a better understanding of what happens in the game. I will participate with the open minded talent here if you wish. This does not only happen with objects in the render window, it happens in player inventory as well, usually it shows up with worn or modded weapons.

 

Sometimes you can have two instances of the same weapon but only one is visible until you move it out of player inventory.

 

And what is very interesting, to put it politely, is that when you move that item out of inventory it usually seems to be the other one hidden underneath that gets moved, even if it is modded or is in a different state of wear and tear than the one you can see when you click to move or drop it.

 

I also found an issue where if you have two of the same gun stacked in player inventory and apply a weapon mod, the game crashes to desktop. This was at least recreatable with my Drakes Wasteland mod, I added an assassin pistol and found this issue when I took all three pistols and tried to apply the laser sight mod to one of them ... need to change the weapon design to get rid of that feature :D

 

p.s. I have a more powerful cheat version of my assassin pistol in Drakes Wasteland, thats where I found the bug, but I am guessing the same issue will occur with the lore friendly version because it has the same fundamental design, just regular crit rate is the only difference. Anyhow I'll be fixing that to update how I did the vendor containers and I figured out how to add the laser sight as a permanent feature which I'll also do in the next update. It's the sort of bug you are likely to find with Drakes Wasteland because you get 3 pistols to begin with, but the lore friendly version only sells 1 at a time through the store so you are far less likely to encounter it.

Make two copies of your hod, extend file name 01 and 02 , enable both and you will have six weapons, tow of every thing. The trick and reason I brought this up was , when testing out the limits of the game, certain things you can not double up on and a lot of things you can. The script can allow for multipliable's too, but as you discovered it had it's draw backs, hence the limit factor . I do this with Kendos clothing mods because he makes great stuff, can't up the number with in the mods them selves so I make duplicates to cover all my companions. At one time in fallout 3 I had every women in the entire game on a space ship, they could not re-spawn to original cyberspace because the way the fella made the mod. Thats a lot of clothes to need and lings just could not cover them all. I did though and once they all had my clothes on, I trans ported all of them back to the wasteland ! I watched the parade of gals going every where, each I had given a god weapon so no one died, they kicked but big time. Thats was fun.
