jammerham
I am porting a weapon from a fallout 3 mod (I dont think I can say which one exactly but it is by Skree000) and I need some help setting all the nodes and such in the right places in NifSkope. If you want to be cool, let me know and I can PM you with all the details. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Moraelin
Hmm... all the weapons I've ported so far, didn't really need much done in NifSkope. The file formats are identical, so any static or weapon .nif that works in FO3 should work in NV just fine. I'd first try just converting the .esp to NV, and see what happens. Way I usually do it, is load it in FOMM and just change the MAST record in the header record from "Fallout3.esm" to "FalloutNV.esm". When converting in the other direction, from NV to FO3, you'd also need to change the file format version number, but from FO3 to NV leaving it as it is works just fine. While you're at it, you may also want to delete the whole CELL branch, since any placement in the FO3 world won't do you much good in NV. Then you can load it in the GECK and place the weapon wherever you wish, and see if it works.
Quetzlsacatanango
I'm guess he is trying to fix the iron sights. Easy to do in blender but I don't know how in nifskope.
jammerham
The ironsights were the easy part. For some reason, i cant move any of the nodes that were already on it. the weapon is off a few degrees on the X axis when i try and hold it. thats the main problem. then i have to get the reload animations working. and its different because it uses the laser pistol reload animations. here is the weapon os maybe you can understand what im talking about. http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/ac68/thorhammer91/lambert.png
