Hello! I am new to this comunity and new to the whole modding world. Ever since I downloaded Windows 10 my Fallout 3 crashed. So I decided to follow a tutorial involving fose and some other tools to simultaneously fix crashes and improve my game. However, after following all the steps up to minute 11, Mod Organizers shows me this... A little help would be nice.
(PS: I'm truly sorry if this question has been asked several times already, I looked for it but couldn't find what I thought I needed.)
This is the tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0aLffIuhxI

Here is the message shown:

I posted the wrong video, my bad.
According to the tutorial, it works for the steam version of both GOTY edition and the regular fallout 3. He also did not say that I needed any DLC's. That's why I'm puzzled. Thank you anyways

you see the red warning icons listed next to each plugin ---in your thumbnail shot? they are there because each one of those plugins requires a master file that is not there, in the header of each plugin clearly states the need for the DLC.

your argument is mute as the software is clearly stating you need the DLC's, that's how the Mod Organizer works.

if there is an argument, don't post give a ways in your questions. The software is what counts here.

MO is the most up to date piece of code for modding any games it supports, it blows away any doubts...as clear as your shot shows.

read more about what it is, mouse over the plugins on the right pane in MO, a pop up tells you you are missing DLC's and that uf3p patch requires said master files.

I don't care what any one say's, OR said ;that shot tells it all.

Good luck fixing your issue.

That tool (Mod Organizer) is the best tool to learn how to use. It won't steer you wrong if used correctly with deliberateness.

As it show there is no argument I used the term "mute" instead of "moot" because it's not open to debate.

Mo closed the argument the software has verses the published mod / patch used.

I am not the one contradicted here, your understanding of your situation is the contradiction "use of tools and data", all I am here to you is helping you fix that misunderstanding..? If at all possible.

Mute represent silence, or quiet "of the argument as I used it as there can be no argument..we both clearly see what the program is telling us.

Good choice of tool BTW. So, I gather you don't own the DLC's ? so don't download mod's that require DLC content unless you inspect it, and use MO to do just that.

experienced mod users and authors know how to use the data, change it so it can be used with out DLC' requirements.

patches are used for games that exhibit faults or bugs. as you don't have most of the Bugged up data installed, there is no useful need for that patch.

you will find all of this out over time.
