Skyrim Modding - How to add new animations

My question is pretty much that of the title: I've made new animations (for a custom spear mod), but I have no idea how to add these into the game (essentially, how to create a new animation set in the weapon tab. I'm not trying to replace any old animations, but add new ones.). I've done a little looking around, and it seems that this isn't exactly the first time these sort of issues have been encountered, yet I haven't seen a solution.
I can do modeling and animation creating, but I really don't know much about coding or the like, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
