DJMagoy
Talking about crystals, I have always wanted to be able to place/summon crystals that shoot spells at others, you know, like the ones you can find in ayleid ruins. Be able to carry and place some of them to a fixed location could be great, I think that setting traps is something that hasn't been explored through Oblivion yet. Since a lot of NPCs and enemies have fixed itineraries, that could prove interesting. Could be very funny too. :) :P

Combining items would require something similar to some of the tradeskill mods, which alone is very difficult to get working. It's possible to do, but it would take someone with good scripting skills, with alot of free time, interest, and possible access to a source for any meshes... In other words, don't hold your breath. Most the crystals or turrets in the game only have one known target, the player, so they don't have to do anything like that. Any sort of placable trap like this would have to somehow make known an unknown target in order to cast a spell at that target. Then there's that whole thing with most NPCs not being very expendable.
