Ivanna
Hi everyone! Well , after playing at least 10 characters to level thirty plus, I discovered the Construction Set. So I thought, alrighty then, I'll whip up a mod. LOL! Not quite that easy, is it? What a PITA to figure out. But once you do it's a real hoot. I was tired of seeing these uber mansions for D/L with there own stores, mega stashes of rare weapons, enchanting altars, etc. I just wanted a simple place to call my own. I found the perfect location on the little island just offshore from Fort Alessia. So you stumble across this little place and it looks like the goblins have killed the owner and are still hanging around. If you can get rid of them (and the rats and crabs), the place is yours. It's a pretty good fight for a low level character. The reward is, of course, a place to call your own. Nothing fancy. Definitely middle class and once you get inside with the key that you find conveniently sitting by the door, you realize it was owned by a hunter/ adventurer. Not a lot to read, but some nice weapons and stuff. Outside is a nice butterfly garden, ingredients to pick and a great view. Inside you have decent storage, a couple of display cases, and a cozy fire. A couple of screens (click to enlarge) Interior Day and Night shots: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y189/Freelancer1/Misc/th_ScreenShot16.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y189/Freelancer1/Misc/th_ScreenShot17.jpg Exterior Day (rainy) and Night shots: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y189/Freelancer1/Misc/th_ScreenShot14.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y189/Freelancer1/Misc/th_ScreenShot9.jpg A question: This thing works aces for me and I wouldn't mind trying it out on someone else's game to see what they think. Any takers?
Goodfortitude
That doesn't look too bad for a simple mod, actually. Nice Job. It'll be the only place in Oblivion where the light can pass through glass. (that's a good thing. ;) )

(that's a good thing. ;) ) aT FIRST, i LINKED THE INDOOR LIGHT TO THE OUTDOOR WEATHER (Caps lock..Sorry). But when the fog rolled into the bedroom and it stared raining in the den, I figured I should come up with something else. Took a while but blue light and a simple script and it was good to go. Windows still stay bright blue though. I'll need to rig a blind of some kind that will turn on in the evening and off in the morning. Goodfortitude
 That's Hilarious. So, you see, real life problems aren't so different from those in game!

Ivanna
So all I need to supply is the .esp file? You can grab it here: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?acti...2UENCTWswTVE9PQ Thanks to anyone who gives it a try :)

You can grab it here: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?acti...2UENCTWswTVE9PQ Thanks to anyone who gives it a try :) It's a nice little home. One itsy-bitsy problem I had-- there was a rat stuck in a rock around the east side of the house. I had to use the console to kill the little sucker. Otherwise, great job, and I dig the indoor scripting for day and night.

Thanks for the input and taking the time to try it out :) I've actually had the same problem with a crab spawning under the porch. I could hear the little *censored* clacking away but couldn't figure out where it was. Checked everywhere and finally had to TCL my way under the house to get it. I think there may be just too much stuff on too small a land mass for that many creatures. Prolly just delete them all except the goblins. Thanks again, Ivanna
