AxelWP
I need help with Nexus mod manager because i downloaded a update and it lost track of were the mods should go and stuff, i know were it should go and all but when i choose D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data , it says ´´You can't set the Virtual Directory equal to the plugin folder.´´ and i've got. Mod Directory : C:\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\Fallout4\Mods Install Info : D:\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\Fallout4\Install Info - no need to change this one. Virtual install : D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data - this is where it does the red thing like on this text were it says ´´You can't set the Virtual Directory equal to the plugin folder.´´ If you could help me add me on skype at add : mr,skullcandy - and don't pick on the name, i was like 9 when i made the account XD And i don't know where and how i would change where the files would go somewhere else and still load the mods i have on the game. I've still got the mods on the fallout 4 folder but when i tested around to see if it will load the mods anyways, NMM says ´´D: (file selection here) (mod not found here) cannot be found.´´ ´´This could be caused by setting the wrong ´Mods´ folder or an old config file being used. ´´If you haven't deleted or moved any of your mods on your hard-drive and they're still on your hard-drive somewhere then select YES and input the proper location of your Mods folder´´ ´´if you select NO NMM will automatically uninstall the missing mod's files.´´ ´´NOTE: The mods folder is where NMM stores your mod archives, it is not the same location as your game's mod folder.´´ Any help? AnAngryYeti
I'm having the exact same issue. I was playing it fine yesterday. No issues. Had everything all set. Now this morning when I tried to play I had received all the same messages you had. Still haven't been able to figure this out :_( edit: I got a pathway that works, however all of the mods are not there (obviously) because it's a different path from yesterday. I'm going to keep trying different things. edit 2: there must have been an update. I didnt think there was. Anyways. I uninstalled NMM and reinstalled (this does not delete mods) and then when it was going through, instead of saying it's going to uninstall missing files it said "there is an updated version of such and such mod (even though the numbers were the same, so it wasnt as if the mod had an update)" and when I clicked yes on all of my mods it took me to the main page and said that there was an update and all of my mods had to be deactivated and then reactivated. Weird issue to be sure, mine should be working fine now. Edited April 3, 2016 by AnAngryYeti
