I´m not tech support really, but you´re saying Oblivion stopped working when you got out of prison? Did it just crash to desktop or did you also get an error message? Have you been able to step out of the prison before and it suddenly stopped working with a new character?

 

Crashes are a pain, I hope you get it sorted out :)
