a way better lookking ncr trooper armor

my request is simple in that i think the ncr trooper armor is actually kinda kool..the only thing i want done is for it to be black..like the color black that the coat for the ncr ranger combat armor is..ty in advance and i look forward to a mod

just do a simple retexture, do you have Gimp? Or blender even?

 

With Blender you can do projection painting, its where you paint the mesh itself, sort of like a minature.

Before all of these steps you need to download Blender 2.4X with Nif scripts on it, so you can convert the nif into a .Blend file for 2.57.

 

- To do it in Blender follow these steps

 

- Download Blender 2.57 (the latest version)

 

-Open up the mesh file

 

- bring up UV mode

 

-load the texture

 

- On the view pulldown menu,tick texture paint.

 

-go to 3D view and go nuts!
