Automatron after quest crashing...

I think it's the Ini files that's messing it up. People at the steam forums say using modified Ini files makes the crash...need verification.

Not going abandon all my progress with mods now.

there is just 1 that you use to make changes thats the custom ini, i have made some changes in that file and it don't matter, peeps that have trouble with the new addon prolly have to much shitty mods that conflict

i have only cs and a esp with changes i made myself, moved the ini files to a save place installed the add on, putted back my custom ini and it works 100% for me

I'm getting the same issue.

I was able to narrow it down to either Homemaker, Spring cleaning or both, at least in my load order, disabling those mods for the duration of that final battle to leaving the Mechanist's Lair seems to temporary fix it, but just now I went back the the Mechanist's Lair and left and got another crash

OK I just went back and identified Spring Cleaning as the culprit, again, at least in the case of my load order.

Not exactly sure what triggers it, Just that its between starting the battle and activating the terminal to disable the security lock down.

Also there is no point in reactivating the mod once that section is finished because it will still trigger the crashing, and in my experience it is tied to the save file, removing the mod afterwards DOES NOT fix it.

Same problem here.

everything was working well playing the game yesterday...then stop a bit to eat, return then restart the game and CRASH to desktop for no reason always whn trying to fast travel... I figure out that Steam installed the mod when the loading screen was showing the TIPS for the new DLC... damned you steam for the mandatory auto-update!

My game was CTD when fast traveling to any settlement... my game is heavily modded (mostly settlement related mods) so i tried lots of mod combination without success.

I start a new game after re validating my game then uninstall all mod and then it work fine.

But I spent to much time creating nice settlements... i don't want to lose them... So I will wait for a patch...

Why fallout 4 don't have error logs or crash report?
