how do you take screenshots in oblivion? printscreen doesnt work...

You have to change a setting in you .ini. There's more information on that in this article, first thing on the top of the list. It will not work, however, if you have AA on (as is detailed in the guide.)

Go to My Documents

Open My Games

Open Oblivion

Copy and save somewhere as a back up the Oblivion.ini file.

Now open the non-backup Oblivion.ini file with notepad

Scroll down to the [Display] section

Find the line:

bAllowScreenShot=0

Change the 0 to 1 and save

Print screen should work after that :)

How do you disable anti-aliasing?

More than likely you do not have it enabled, if you are asking how to disable it. It is a feature that can be enabled if one has a high-end computer to improve picture quality, but it drastically lower performance. It is an option found in the Video Settings window in the game itself.

Hmm.

I think I figured out the problem.

I had the hud disabled, so it did not tell me it had saved the screenshot, silly me.

Anywho, I can't find where they were saved, I heard someone say the Oblivion directory, but there are no bmp files in either the My Games>Oblivion Directory, or the My Computer>OS>Bethesda Softworks>Oblivion Directory.
