MaxwellNinx
So, there's one thing that I've been wondering for a while. In one of the gameplay videos, I've heard something like "you can start a business" or something very like that. Then I got to think that there may be a chance for owning a shop on the game. Or more diverse choices, like making family. Doesn't look like a kind of thing that would go to a game series like The Elder Scrolls, sure. Actually, it's something that there is on Fable. But hey, didn't Todd said the whole time that Skyrim will be a "be what you want, do what you want" game? So what about it? Making up a merchant's life is too bad for the Dragonborn? I haven't heard from anyone or anywhere from this kind of possibility. If someone knows, please sate my curiosity. It would be cool though Yeah, I've know of these, where you do the same animations that NPCs do. But I'm sure that I heard something different in the video. If I remember right, it's the G4TV interview..
AltreU
I don't know about owning a business, but you definitely do have the ability to earn wages by performing various jobs, such as wood cutting.

3WINTERS
It would be nice if Skyrim would have some peacefull ways to make money from the start but as this isn't to many people's interest I doubt there will be much at all. At least I'm sure modders will fill that certain void eventually and it will be better than ever before. As I wait for Skyrim I am quite happy just playing the various job and ownership mods available to Oblivion.
