Magazines for guns

One thing that's annoyed me somewhat while wandering through the wasteland is that you seem to have an unlimited amount of magically refilling magazines/ammo drums for your guns. Since I've been hunting down mods that try to make Fallout 4 a bit more realistic, one mod I'd love is one that adds refillable magazines that guns can use instead of plain bullets.

I'll admit that I have no coding experience, however it would seem like it would be fairly easy to create once the GECK comes out, or even before then since an existing system exists for the gatling laser and fusion cores. What I'd propose is that several types of "fusion cores," or magazines for each caliber could be used with a limited durability. (Like 20 or 40 or something, depending on weapon/magazine mods) Once it's depleted to 0, instead of disappearing it could simply be replaced with an "Empty Magazine" item that can be used with a crafting bench or an item in the AID category to refill it with loose ammunition that you have on you.

While it definitely wouldn't be a great mod for everybody, I think it'd make a great addition to the lists of realism mods that already exist. I'd appreciate any feedback you guys have and I'll try my best to answer questions that you ask. (Sorry in advance if this is the wrong thread)
