agent0002
Is there a way i can restore some display memory?Im kinda low on it. what exactly do you mean? do you mean while playing a game? if you do mean while playing a game, the game should autmatically unload things from VRAM that it is not drawing/queing. (actually, your computer will ALWAYS unload things from all memory that it wil not be using.) if you're using something like ATItool that tells you how much VRAM you have free while you're playing and you're worried because it reads 0 MB free, don't worry about it. This isn't as bad as you would think. It isn't really degrading performance. If the above is not what you meant (and you're sure of it), then the only way you can get more VRAM is to buy a video card with more memory, or play games at a lower resolution. im pretty sure the previous paragraph is the answer to your question though. ItWotBeSoonBeforeLong
Okay the error is that there is a configuration problem with my OpenGL drivers.
agent0002
Okay the error is that there is a configuration problem with my OpenGL drivers. your card might not have the required version of openGL that the game needs. find out what version your card has and what version the game requires and that might be your problem. OR (but not likely) you tweaked some openGL setting that you shouldn't have using something like ATItool. if this IS the case, i would suggest using a system restore if you can if you don't know how to find what version of openGL your card suports tell me your card cause i might know. if it mentioned your directX also your video card might not support the version of directX that is required. if you could find out what directX version you have that would help if your card ends up NOT supporting the versions it needs then the only solution is to get a new card. (hope that it is not the problem though) if the versions seem to match up just fine, try and find how much memory your video card has, and look up how much the game requires.
