NexusKnight
Anyone else have the desktop cursor appear with the game cursor on screen while playing Skyrim? It happens all the time to me now and is driving me crazy! I've started a new game and can't even get out of the tutorial because of this. It's worse when I draw a bow and the game stalls and then I'm on the desktop because the cursor has activated an app or selected a bunch of icons...WTF?! I'm ready to toss my mouse out the window... anyone know a fix for this? Plz pretty plz? BTW, I do have up to date mouse drivers for a Cooler Master Sentinel Storm game mouse & Legendary Edition. Riprock
Never had it like that but I have had it on loading a save. Usually, ALT-TABbing out and then clicking on the taskbar icon for Skyrim fixes it. But not always.
merlinsons
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40706/? Try this one. By running in a borderless window, Onetweak also lets you alt-tab out of the game and lets other program windows pop up.
NexusKnight
Thanks for the replies...I've been doing a bit of research and found that Alt+Tab'ing seems to be causing this problem for me, like you said Riprock. I don't understand why because I've been doing this for years without this problem. @merlinsons: I play in borderless window mode all the time and like I said, Alt+Tab causes the double cursor problem. It seems strange to me that this utility will allow me to continue doing what I'm already doing without the cursor glitch...but if it works that would be great! This might also solve my random CTD problem that I suspect is being triggered by the desktop cursor. Thanks again for the advice...will let you know if this doesn't work. Have a great day.
