Bottletopman
This one is annoying. Normally I set my global timescale to 2, but recently (it seems to be after installing Honest Hearts) the timescale just won't change. Timescale mods, console commands, nothing will work, it still stays at the default 30. Here's my load order, wondering if any of these mods are what's causing the timescale issue.FalloutNV.esmDeadMoney.esmHonestHearts.esmCommunity Bugfix Compilation Patch.esmCBC Dead Money Patch.esmClassicPack.esmNVR-Strip.esmRH_IRONSIGHTS_NV.esmProject Nevada - Core.esmELECTRO-CITY - CompletedWorkorders.esmWeathered10mmFixes.espBetter Burned Man.espNVR-NPCs.espNVR-Version_10.espNVR-ELECTRO-CTIY_Patch.espProject Nevada - Rebalance.espExtendedNVRadio.espAmata's Face Playable v1.0.espNV Cass Hat & Outfit Playable.esppimpboyfemale.espED-E avoids traps.espDistant Gunfire Sound Fix V2.1 - Machienzo.espImproved VATS and Autoaim fix with Better Binoculars.espImp's Timescale Adjuster.espRH_IronSights_NV_Vanilla.espFellout.espBrighter Nights Restored for Fellout NV.espInterior Lighting Overhaul-Realistic Interiors-Full.espILO-RI-Dead Money.espILO-RI-Honest Hearts.espILO-RI-PipBoy Light.espMinigunfix.esp Total active plugins: 32Total plugins:
Valamarth
Bump. Same thing here. Anyone?
DMExtremis
I think it may be Project Nevada.. I was having the same problem then i disabled these two options from the in game window and it started working right again. not sure if its the same problem but give it a shot.* Higher Primary Needs Increases per Minute* Survival Skill and Food Quality Influence Primary Needs Rates I'm also hoping to still find out why this is going on, id like to use these two options. Imp's Dynamic Timescale wont function with them on, nor could i change the timescale manually. Doing a clean install now just to see if it still occurs. schlangster
Yes, the PN option for tweaked HTS rates sets the timescale to 20 by script. If you disable it, it shouldn't do so anymore (but it might require a game restart until any custom settings can override it). Anyway, there's a new version coming up soon where this timescale change is more apparent, but the basic mechanic still is in place, i.e. use either a tweaked timescale of 20, or the vanilla timescale. If you use the vanilla timescale, the script will leave the timescale alone, so you can override it in FNVEdit or imps timescale adjuster. PN will not include an option to freely select the timescale, simply because imho its not a good idea. Yes it's technically possible, but it takes too much effort and introduces too many potential problems to justify it. But there's Imp's mod if you wanna do this, so it's not necessary for us to include it anyway :) Edited June 28, 2011 by schlangster
Bottletopman
YES!! Reverting the tweaked HTS rates to the vanilla ones allowed me to control the timescale to my liking. Thanks a lot for pointing that out schlangster, kudos to you, I thought my game was screwed
