Iknowgungfu
Hi all, I tried searching the forums but couldn't find anything.... I have started the game as an elven mage. I was just wondering if there is any way to go back and change my appearance as I don't like the way I made her. Any help would be appreciated.Cheers Drew

However, there is a mod that will allow you to do that. I haven't used the mod personally, but it does have a lot of endorsements. dcinroc
Thanks for the reply. I literally downloaded that this morning. Worked a treat. I may download some more character mods. I have the pineapple one....any other recommendations? I think Pineapple has two, maybe more. I use Vibrant Colors, but I'll probably add the Eye Color Replacement. Most of the mods I use have to do with functionality or minor tweaks such as adding custom items. I've only recently started getting into the character textures, since I only recently upgraded my video card allowing me to take full advantage. The way I found most of the mods I use is to browse the Dragon Age Nexus file page. Pick a category and at the bottom is an option to "Organise". I usually organise by reccomendations (desc, to go from highest to lowest). Just don't go crazy and add too many mods at once, cuz if something goes wrong, you will have one heck of a time figuring out the source of the problem. I like the Natural Bodies mod and rainshock's Male Nudes and Underwear, cuz they are much better than the default models. Highly recommended if not put off by the nudity. CC Extra Tints & Tones v 1.3 gives you some new hair colors, skin and eye colors. Seyt's Bow Replacer reworks the bow models, making them slimmer and less clunky looking. I use No Armor Hack 1.2 to hide helmets, cuz I like to see my character's faces, but I want the benefits of wearing a helm. "Shade Leather Armor" is a very nice, darker leather set with some nice, but not crazy bonuses. Ditto "GW Runic Armor" for heavy amor or "Armor of the Elven Warden" for heavy chainmail. "Warden Shields" are some very nice looking shields. Personal Annoyance Remover 7.0 by rekicker (removes auras from spell effects) and Weapon VFX Removal ( removes the enchantment auras on weapons). Dragon Age Beguiler (allows you to respec your character in-game) Add Any Item Visual Deluxe by sirmaod (allows you to add any in-game or mod item to your inventory...very useful since item mods often don't work as they should) Extra Dog Slot (allows you "summon" dog as a permanent companion...works well, but can be buggy in certain situations, so read the readme and user comments) Sorry I don't the URLs for you. The server was down when I tried to look, but you should find them easily through search.
