I'm also having problems with dialogue and other sounds repeating itself. I don't have this problem with any other games I play. I have a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround sound system (Camebridge Studios Desktop Surround Sound.)

I`ve heard that some people experiencing the same issues with 5.1 and 7.1 can configure their speakers to 2.1 and everything works normal . If this works for you then i would say that it would be a game issue where a patch would be what it would take to fix it permanently .
