xbox 360 wireless controller

Is there ANY way to get the 360 wireless reciever working with oblivion? I can kind of get the thing to work, but when i move there is always a slight residual movement, meaning that i'm still sliding by a tiny bit when i use it. Also i cannot get the triggers to work at all. Is there maybe a mod or something that will make oblivion use the controller like the xbox 360 version?

I had the same problem, U can edit the controls for it in the Oblivion ini better than from the oblivion menu. The controls u want to edit r the ones with joystick in the variable name. Google somthin like Oblivion ini control changes or somthing like that.

Sorry for taking so long to reply to this, but i found the perfect thing! Use Pinnicle Game Profiler (google it), and search their support forums for an Oblivion profile (the only on that I know of is designed for the 360 controller), but you can make your own very easily. There are only a few minor differences between using the 360 version, and using a controller on the PC. It makes playing oblivion SOO much easier for us gamepad junkies

 

Hopefully Oblivion GotY edition will be a games for windows game.

If you're using vista make to download the installer BETA 4 from their support forums, because other versions DO NOT WORK
