Kuraikiba
I have made quite a few reverse handers in the past, but now I want to attempt the daring: Make a reverse hand form of every melee weapon in Vanilla Oblivion. As of now, all Ebony weapons are done. Once I complete this, I will have off-handers made to compliment the reverse handers, and the off-handers are reverse handed as well. Considering the size of this, and how much I'd like to finally get a decent number of uploads for something (more than 150...) as well as endorsements, I decided I would make this thread to: A) See if anyone would be willing to help (We ARE talking about somewhere in the neighborhood of about 100 items here) with the nifskopingB) See if anyone would like me to make any of their models reverse handers and off-handed reverse handers (Don't inundate me though)C) Draw attention to this mod so it won't be as poorly advertised as pretty much everything I do... andD) Bring attention to the idea. So, anyone want to help? I mean, I still have over 75 to go.
alonsomartinez
Well , I dont really see the point of reverse weapons. They just look odd. Also , how do you plan to fix the issue of the weapon sticking into your side when sheathed?
Kuraikiba
Quite a good question. I'm not sure how, because that would probably involve anim changes, and I have not a clue how to animate, make armor, or script. Now, as to the idea of them, it became a big pop culture thing with ninjas, but Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game series made it quite popular, due to stylish, intricate fight moves. Besides, nice, fresh twist on the norm!
fore
Quite a good question. Just making the reverse animations (in a reasonable way) noone reading this post is able to do.
Kuraikiba
Thanks. That will be quite helpful. Of course, how on earth could it determine what is reverse or not...?

How you would do the animations, and what's the easy workaround. Edit: we are not talking about stances. We are talking about all (one-hand) atack animations as well? And not about a mirrored skeleton?
Kuraikiba
Well, if it was possible to get something to be Backweapon if sheathed, but shift to Sideweapon when drawn, then it would work perfectly.
