Vagrant0 Posted June 13, 2011 Share Posted June 13, 2011 Is the body in a cell which is part of the main worldspace or is otherwise accessible (there are some closed worldspaces with terrain outside the playable area), does the body have any packages (if cloned from an NPC, there may be packages or scripts remaining which might move the NPC before they're treated as dead by the game), does the place where the body is have pathing near where the body is placed (NPCs may snap to path points when the cell is loaded)? dogtown1 Posted June 13, 2011 Share Posted June 13, 2011 I dont know if this is somehow related but sometimes when creating a new interior cell with all the proper navs and what not, I get a similar effect with things like full body skeletons and other objects including standing dead peopleis there some trick to gettin these things to fall down? Itchi Posted June 14, 2011 Share Posted June 14, 2011 I had the same problem recently. Open the NPC in the GECK and check "quest item". Dead NPC's are cleared from a cell in the game when said cell refreshes. However, if your dead NPC is marked as a quest item, it will remain indefinitely.
