Looking to recruit modders for Massive Project

I have been really interested by the idea of making a small minigame that would be a cross between (i hate to mention it) Nazi Zombies and A base defense that could also function as a player home, follower base, and a village for the player to trade and enjoy i also was thinking about a few other plans that would really make the mod quite amazing and now with the file size up i think its very possible. I would do this (or try) by myself but i really think that a great mod shouldnt be kept until after the game is old.

 

If theres anyone out there who thinks they could contribute feel free to send me a message.

building designers

navmesh designers

coders

texture-ers

 

any help at all would be welcomed and appreciated

Most architectual and visual designers can already navemeshing, and navemeshing doesnt need any design it just needs toi be done. If you want to recrute a team show that you are capable and not just getting people to make a mod for you.

thanks for the advice but i understand what im doing and the only reason i even mention navmeshes is because i was taking into consideration the size of the project

 

 

Also for everyone else i wanted to give a little perspective on what the mod would be like so the best way to give an example would be the wasteland defense mod by elderwind.

I'm guessing Rowt is asking what you yourself would bring to the project in terms of skills? Good luck, regardless.

 

I understand your concerns and really im not very experienced other than a few private mods but thats why i am looking for others to pick up where i am lacking. The project would be done as a team where everyone is equal. Really i would contribute with textures voice modeling and story line development.

Usually its best to have something to show before you start recruiting. It doesn't have to be much even just a few screenshots. Another good way to attract people is to release a very simple stripped down version, then to gather a few people to help expand it. Many large projects begin with a small mod that gets expanded.

 

Anyway it sounds like it could be a fun mod if done properly. Although I would substitute Nazi zombis with the feral NCR ghouls that are already in the game.

Imjust finishing the storyline right now so i might post a preview or two and i might do a progress update every once in a while.

Let's keep the discussion focused on this mod project, and not go insulting other members, or presuming to know how they (or others) feel about things. Especially when those comments were regarding another mod altogether.

most of this, i have no idea how to do, but if you ever need a voice for an NPC in the mod, throw me a message.

you never know. voices are useful. and i happen to have one for hire.
