NEED SWORD MESH

I've found some interesting textures, but I found better gem images than ruby. Would sapphire or other gem be ok? It would cut down on the work I would have to do shaping the UV map overtop of a ruby ring.

Also, would you please give a bit of guidance for #1?

Ya, if you cant do ruby then i guess sapphire would work. Whatever gem you want is fine it doesn't matter too much. Just so long as it looks rockin, though since i see your work already, i doubt even if you tried you couldnt make it look completely awsome. and for Number1... hmmm.... i guess the same texture as the hilt, but if its not too much work can you also add smaller gems on both ends, both sides of the "1:"? i meen, like anygem you want, but if not i guess it don't really matter. I can;t think of anything to do with it

Really? COOl. Thanks! Rofl, i am, in the next week or so, going to try to learn how to model. But i would really like to know from the best, where to go to learn. Can you tell me where you learned how to model, and if you have any tips which can be very useful that most torurials dont say it'd be very much appriectiated

I want the blade to be dark dark red with whatever texture u think is coolest.AND OOOOO!!!!

How about 3 small diamonds on the begning of the blade, not on the hilt but stacked up long ways with a inch or so apart. THATD be cool! But if its too much work then it dont matter, just a suggestion
