montybrad
Need to remove dependency on ClassicPack.esm from my mod. I have FOMM and FNVedit but i don't know what to do. Can someone explain the operation to me? thanks for your time and consideration.
drakeelvin
You should be able to just go into NVGECK and click the "Load Master/Plugin Files" folder icon, and in the data window select your mod (but don't load it) then highlight the classic pack dependency over on the right (under Parent Masters) and press DEL to delete it from the dependency list. rotarydanimal
What do you do when deleting a master removes instances of vanilla statics?
Xaranth
Add them back in or revert to an older version.
rotarydanimal
The master I am trying to remove is one I downloaded from the nexus and yet it is removing vanilla lonesome road statics. I thought there would be some connection to the items that get removed and the master that is removed?
Xaranth
Probably the master you stripped from your mod (The downloaded one) had overrides on the Lonesome Road resources you used and so you were actually using resources from the downloaded file. rotarydanimal
I thought of that. But I did not have the downloaded master loaded. It happened to mistakenly get loaded about 2 days ago. I would be happy to send you a copy if you think you can fix it. Edited January 17, 2013 by rotarydanimal
Xaranth
No real easy or fast way to do it, sadly. You'll just have to open the one with the unwanted masterfile in FNVEdit and change all static entries to be sure they're pointing at lonesome road and not somewhere else. rotarydanimal
Ok. I just checked in FNVEdit, the statics that are getting removed have this as their base "NVDLC04SiloKitWall [sTAT:070046C9]"
