Kindo
Greetings, As flashy as the finishers might look, they are highly annoying compared to how they worked in TW1. In TW2, you are taken out of the fight - quite literally teleported somewhere in the battle's proximity - just to watch a pre-recorded action move that kills the enemy. I much prefer the finishers in TW1, that occur just as a part of the fight, and is a simple move performed by Geralt right then and there. Now, the TW2 finishers may be of questionable quality when looking at them cosmetically like this, but that's not why I wish they could be disabled... The finishers in TW2 are more dangerous for Geralt than they are for the enemies! There's no telling beforehand where this 'teleport' may take you, and since all other currently engaged foes become invisible during the cutscene, you more often than not end up surrounded or immediately stabbed in the back once you're let back in the game. Depending on your difficulty level and mods you have installed, performing a finishing move can often lead to your own demise because of this. Another horrible scenario is when you're doing the escort on the battlefield in Chapter 2 - a finisher actually teleports you outside the protective bubble for its duration, and while you're there, you're actually taken continual damage; once you're back where you're supposed to be, you may already be dead because of this. Alright, the finishers in TW2 look poor, they remove you from the game just to watch this sequence, and they are outright dangerous to your health. They must go. I've noticed in some battles, the finishers don't play, and the enemy simply dies from one hit (the gargoyles during the fight with the Operator, for instance), so if this disabling script could be extended to all other areas... that would be great.
