Sunnie
Its possible that you are deleting the wrong entries. I'm going to change up just a bit, because deleting an entry thats overriding a vanilla weapon may act like an override delete. So, load all the awop/mo stuff up in FNVEdit, expand the Mo'Guns.esp, expand weapons and find these 3 entries: EID:WeapNVHuntingRevolver Name:Rhino Hunting RevolverEID:WeapNV357RevolverUnique Name:****Lucky .357EID:WeapNVRangerSequoia Name:****Ranger Sequoia(Note: the * above are actually dot symbols in the weapon names) Delete these 3 lines under the Mo'Guns.esp and exit>save. That should be all thats needed to return those 3 back to complete vanilla. That is, unless you have another mod that's still forcing a change. AWOP and the Mo' addods are a respectable piece of work, but after sifting through all the files looking for your problem I have to say that its organization and file dependencies are somewhat of a confusing test of patience.. Anyway, if that doesnt do it for you, then I suggest you contact the mod author directly through the mods comment thread and see if they can shine some more light on this. I honestly don;t know what else to suggest at this point.
roboroller
Nope. Actually, that was the very first thing I ever tried, before I even posted, but I went back and gave it another shot for good measure and still nothin'. For all intents and purposes, deleting those entries does change the weapon back to its vanilla incarnation, it's just that something within the moguns.esp is clasping on tightly to the mesh and textures. Oh well, ya did what you could. It's not an emergency or anything, and you really, really went above and beyond in the amount of help you gave me. I really appreciate it. I'll dick around with it a bit more and see if I can't find what's going on, but I don't expect much. As for contacting the author, Earache got banned from the Nexus a few months ago and even If I could get a hold of him, he'd probably just tell me to go screw off (there's a reason he was banned in the first place) as he was not known for being the most friendly or approachable person in the world when it came to requesting assistance with his mods. Sunnie
Ah, I see. Yes, that would make it a bit difficult for sure. Well, I really wish you luck in getting it sorted! Sorry I couldn't be any more help.
Harvey2112
Sunnie is spot on with the advice. FNVedit is the tool you want to use, not GECK. If deleting these entries does not revert the weapons to the vanilla forms, then you have another override somewhere. One possibility (which would explain 2/3 of your issues) is that you are loading Mo'Uniques.esp as well as Mo'Guns.esp. Second alternative is that you previously created a merge file that includes these weapons and simply forgot to update your merge. It should be a no brainer to start FNVedit with all your active mods and trace the weapon entries to see what esm/esp is overriding the vanilla entries. roboroller
Yeah, a merged patch was one of the things I first thought of, but that's not the issue. I've tried it without a new merged patch, with no merged patch, with a brand new merged patch...same thing every time. I know for a fact that I'm not loading Mo'Uniques as well (besides, that would only change Lucky, not the Sequoia or the Hunting Revolver), so I really don't know where the override is coming from. Like I said, the weapon COMPLETELY changes back to it's vanilla incarnation in all but appearance. Even the reloading animation is changed back! There's something within that Mo'guns esp (simply deactivating that specific esp will, in fact, switch the guns completely back to vanilla) that is overriding the meshes and textures of the Vanilla guns in such a way that even deleting the entries for the weapons within the esp won't get rid of it's grip on the meshes and textures for those guns, but I have no idea what it could be. I've poked around in the esp a bit, but with my limited knowledge of how these things work, I have no idea what's going on here. I even tested the effect with a different replacer (Azhtecks pistol and smg replacer) to see if deleting an entry with FNVedit would revert everything about a weapon back to its original incarnation, and with his mod, doing this does in fact simply change everything back. So Earache has his mod set up in a specific way to stop this from happening. I swear it's almost like he did it maliciously. I wouldn't put it past him.
