Narayana
It was a while ago since i was modding with Oblivion, and i dont usually do it with the steam version but it shouldnt be any difference as far as i know to get back to what i used to put in (since i get it to work.. sort of). I have tried looking at support threads and modding faqs to find a solution, but those solutions are mostly for if the texture doesnt appear at all. But basicly what i want to get working is the hi-res textures of HGEC (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20022) since i can get most other things to work. However... 1. I install Natural Faces, Enaylas face textures, Custom Race Fix, Rens Beauty Pack and then the HGEC pack with everything on default (normal/E-cup/medium) and things works just fine. I can see all the new textures and stuff, its just not hi-res.(Edit: I installed ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated as well, but im not sure in which order) 2. I install the hi-res textures (tried both 4096 and 2048 packages) and it looks like crap. Crap in the sense that the body texture seems to be way off. Its there but it looks like it doesnt fit. Theres some suspicious white dots on the legs, a lot of seams on the arms and legs, the nipples are just blank skin so i assume the textures for them are off somewhere else tho i cant find them on the body. 3. If i reinstall the normal HGEC it looks good again. What did i miss? Im pretty sure i did it this way last time i played some year ago, and it obviously finds the textures but i guess im doing something very wrong / misunderstood something in the process.Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!/Mike Edit: Didnt work even with a completely fresh install, then HGEC (looked fine at that point) and then hi-res textures (Everything looks off again until i reapply the standard HGEC-textures). Am i missing something? Isnt these http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20022 meant for this http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15802 or whats going on? DeadMansFist849
You missed getting Archive Invalidation Invalidated. Try installing that.
Narayana
You missed getting Archive Invalidation Invalidated. Try installing that. I forgot to mention that i installed that too :< But how does it work really? As long as its installed, i dont really have to bother with archive invalidation at all? And where in the process should i install it, beginning or the end? :o
Narayana
Ok i sort of got it to work now by using BSA-redirection so im not sure what that did tbh but it fixed one problem, however im not sure if that messed something else up because now i cant really get the textures to work with the male bodys (not that im that bothered with the males, but being a perfectionist i sort of want to understand why the faces looks hi-res and all while the body still looks crap for the males only >_< Now it just feels like im mashing mods in and out in random orders while doing some BSA-redirection when trying it out, and im probably going at it all wrong...
