Baldsake
Alright people, I played Oblivion for a while some time ago, with plenty of mods and my video settings set to high-very high, no lag EVER. After a while I started noticing lag and weird textures after installing more and more mods and decided to stop playing and just uninstall the game, this was about 3 months ago.Today I reinstalled Oblivion totally vanilla, no mods and no old save games, and the game is just unplayable, it doesn't matter if I put the graphics low or high, there's just a weird unexplainable lag, indoor and out. My drivers are up to date. There are my specs: CPU: Intel® Core i5 CPU U 520 @ 1.07GHz CPU Speed: 1.1 GHz Performance Rated at: 2.2 GHz RAM: 3.8 GBOS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (build 7600), 64-bitGraphics: GeForce GT 335MVideo RAM: 2.6 GBDirectX 11.0 This is really weird, hope someone can help. bben46
Believe it or not, just uninstalling the game does not really uninstall anything except the vanilla part. It leaves behind all of the mods, meshes and textures - unless you specifically remove them. Here is a link to my complete uninstall/reinstall procedure located in the articles section of the Nexushttp://www.tesnexus....icle.php?id=240It fixes a lot of the reinstall problems I have seen.It allows you to preserve any saves and mods, or remove them completely - your choice. For Other slowdown problems Here are my Slow Game suggestionshttp://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fixing_a_slow_game

Imiona
I dont want to make a new post, what i wanted to know is, are the mods here compatible with the german version of elder scrolls? Because all of them are english written, and i have a bug where i have no speech anymore in the game after i installed a certain mod ( i still try to figure it out witch one it is...) Edith: OK, found it, any mods who changes the races are not compatible at all with the german versions, that sucks....
bben46
Many mods do have German versions. Some of those are hosted here, but not many. There are several German mod sites that have quite a few German language mods though. As well as help for German speaking players.
Imiona
Thx for the help, but i was able to really find out what causes the problem, its the unofficial oblivion patch. When i juse it, i dont have any speech at all in the game because it changes the speech files^^. Maybe they should place a warning on that mod "Dont juse it when you are German!"
