RaulMasterMechanic
Okay so I've managed to make a pretty simple armory/ base thing, I save it in Geck to go test it in Fallout. It seems to be working fine. Then I go to add in the armor and custom weapons and such in Geck. I load the Plugin File that I saved the base/ armory on and the Master File, Fallout New Vegas. I proceed to add the items, putting each in a container. Dufflebag, Dumpster, whatever. Then I save. So I go to test the base AGAIN and the items that I put in the base aren't there. I doubt that the mods I have installed would be causing this, but I can provide a list if you want it. Thanks.
tunaisafish
Is your fallout savegame one that was saved 'before' you first added/entered the cell?
RaulMasterMechanic
Yes, why? Oh and I forgot one mayjor detail, instead of putting it in the cell, it duplicates the cell, and the only thing in the copy is the supplies. Don't know if that helps. davidlallen
If you have duplicated the cell, then in your mod you have the original room and also your modified room. When you walk through the door, does the door bring you to the original room or your modified one? Probably it brings you to the original room. So you should fix the door markers. Did you intend to make a copy? Usually it does not make sense to have two copies. You can use fnvedit to remove the duplicate.
RaulMasterMechanic
I didn't intentionally duplicate it, after saving the cell and testing it, I opened it back up and added supplies, and for some reason it seperated the supplies from the cell by making a duplicate and putting the supplies in it. Oh, and I've tried to fix the door marker it makes yet ANOTHER duplicate. So basically if I try to change it at all after saving it, it puts the changes in it's own duplicate. So.......Yeah. :wallbash:
davidlallen
It is possible to use geck to edit cells without making duplicates. It may be easier for you to start with a version that does not have any duplicates, and then make sure to edit cells without duplicating. To get that version, you may want to use fnvedit to remove the duplicates, or you may have a "backup" from earlier, or in the worst case you may want to start over. The duplicates will be very confusing at every step if you leave them there.
