crudius
Just to set the record straight, that isn't my hair, it's just some dude that came up when I googled "jaw dropping" :D A big thanks to all the lads and lasses of the mod community for making a great game moreYes, thank you all very much!! Even with good graphic card I got now, it's still not enough to bring Oblivion to its full powerThat's why I respect this game so much. Cities are no problem, but as you can see in the above screenshot, my FPS is only 30 (it can get lower than that in wide open areas fast). My system is i7 2600K @ 4.6 GHz, 16GB DDR3 and 2xHD6950 2GB in crossfire and Oblivion just obliterates all of that. It's awesome and frustrating at the same time :) So excuse me gentlemen while I go and immerse myself in the wonderful world of Oblivion :P And again modders - you rock! :) Really? my rig is similar to yours, except i have a single MSI twin frozr 2 o.c and half the ram......im getting 30-40fps in cities and a steady 60 when in open ground at 8 x AA. Not you in the pic......was funny.....maybe he was watching 'two girls, one cup' Happy questing!!

MadDiplomat
Looking good :) I did some travelling myself ... Love the scenery, love the mods :) http://i.imgur.com/LHRN4.jpg http://i.imgur.com/GFJJv.jpg Edit: I just switched to supersampling from multisampling AA. FPS in both modes is basically identical in my case (4xSSAA FPS = 16xMSAA FPS) while MSAA for some reason just isn't applied to certain elements (if anyone has an explanation I'm all ears :)). See the circled trees in the screenshot below and compare them to supersampling (2nd image). http://i.imgur.com/SIZpO.jpg http://i.imgur.com/3xv7z.jpg Edited June 15, 2011 by MadDiplomat
crudius
Its Kvatch....the trees around the Castle are supposed to be burnt and the whole area scorched....the trees on the path up are normal. Thats how it should look :) Edit....I see what you mean i think? try taking a couple screenies at a time for better comparison in each AA sample.Looks pretty minor.....hows the play and your char look? stick on 'tfc' that will give you a better idea. Also, they are the edges of the shot, try moving them to the centre point to see if they still look the same. rinoaff33
If I may, I would recommend you get the Oblivion Graphics Extender (if you haven't already). It's a bit annoying to set up but it adds a WHOLE lot of picture quality for a barely noticable FPS hit (SSAO effects notwithstanding - RingSSAO and VolumetricSSAO, however, are relatively light).
