I get a little tired of the Doom-inspired corridor look. Hence the old-fashioned "star warsy" greeble.

This is still a work in progress however; parts will get switched around, rebuilt, or removed/replaced completely.

 

I am keeping things as low-poly as I can. I understand that not everyone has the most high-end beast of a machine, so I'm trying to be considerate.

Are you going to make this into customizable tileset? It is always nice to see more of those. Looking forward to seeing the texturing.

 

 

Yes, it will be completely tileable and everything. :D

 

Currently I'm working on some light post assets and other things. Kind of scary, but I feel like I'm making something the scale of a DLC--As far as the modeling and texturing goes. I'll even be adding in sound effects for completely new guns and stuff. I'm running into technical issues with projectile effects at the moment, so I'll be creating a thread on that soon. -_-

Here's how the light post is looking right now. Model is done, but not 100% textured. I tend to model and UV map everything, then save all or most of the texturing for last. Things WILL get done though eventually. If anyone would like to help out, especially with technical problems, I'd appreciate it. At some point I'll also need some scripting gurus, but for now that's the least of my worries.

Keep the screenies coming! I'm looking forward to seeing some tiling/texturing in action. So far things look promising. Do you have any idea how these assets are to fit into the wasteland? For people to use them they will need a point at which they can 'connect' to the current game world, whether it be physically or through story.
