PlaneSpaceWalker Posted June 15, 2011 Share Posted June 15, 2011 Hi guys, posted in the tech support forum but I'm curious and can't find answers on the googles. I'm having an issue where the graphics settings I had for a certain save are sort of... bound to that save, so that if I use other settings that save won't work. Editing the save file being a difficult proposition, the other thing I thought of was loading that save and then using console commands to turn the settings down. The setting in question is the uGridsToLoad setting in the ini. The problem is I need to change it while in game, and save that somehow. It's a troublesome issue but if anyone has any helpful knowledge I'd sure appreciate it. Lemme know if I can clarify the issue or provide any useful info, thanks. marharth Posted June 16, 2011 Share Posted June 16, 2011 So editing your ini does not work? I suggest backing up your fallout default.ini, and editing that. Make sure you have a backup before editing it though. From what I know you can't save anything you do in the console, it always resets once you exit.
