Custom Vendor Inventory Glitch - Please Help

Hi everyone, I hope that this is the right place to post this. Anyway, I am relatively new to modding Fallout, and using the G.E.C.K. I've been constructing my own vault/lair lately, and I've reached the point where I want to populate it with customized NPC's. I have a few soldiers patrolling around, and I have a vendor who sells food and drinks. My food/drink vendor works fine.

The problem arose when I tried to create another vendor. I wanted a weapon dealer inside of my armory, so, following the guide (which I will post a link to below) I created my NPC, created my quest, created my container, and integrated them all into the vault as per instructions. Once inside of my vault, I stroll into the armoy, talk to the vendor, ask to see his wares, and the barter menu comes up. Unfortunately, there is nothing on his side. And, when I sell him things, there is an exchange of caps, but the item I sold him does not appear on his side of the window. Any ideas as to why this is? How can I fix it?

Here's the link to the guide for making vendors that I was using:

It worked perfectly for the old guy, so I'm wondering what happened. Thanks everyone.

Have you checked that you have weapons ticked in AI data for the NPC's Autocalc Services?

I thought if you simply ticked "autocalc services" the rest would be done for you. I wonder if the problem was that simple. I'll check ASAP, if it is, I feel like a dummy for posting this up here. Thank you in advance though, I have this sneaking suspicion you might be right.
