Are there any mods to make Dogmeat look like a Deutsche Drahthaar? Have a puppy, and sort of want to run around hunting Bloatflies with her in video-game land as well as by the floodway. =)

Not really no. There are several recoloured textures for dogmeat, but relatively few which change anything about the actual shape of his features.

 

The closest I expect you could get would be by installing both of the following mods at the same time and combining the effect. (One is a retexture, the other is a mesh change designed to fit the original texture so they combine just fine).

Classic Dogmeat

 

This will give you a floppy eared kelpie/cattledog, that's about as close to getting a German Pointer as you can get with existing mods.

I'm going to be a little busy over the next few days (I've got several assignments due), but if you don't mind waiting a bit I could try to make a new texture for you. My 3d modelling skills aren't up to the task of changing the breed, but I could give you the right colouration at least. Fortunately it's pretty close already in some respects (once you've got the floppy ears) but you wouldn't have the distinctive "beard and moustache" look that the breed has. I might be able to give it a little bit of that look, since most of the hair is from the texture and I can manipulate the normals, but I can't reshape the polygons.

 

If you'd like, feel free to send me a description or picture of your dog (here or by PM, whichever you prefer) and I'll try to match it particularly to how she looks. Just don't expect miracles here and it won't be until next week some time.
