termin8or123
Ok, I'm having trouble getting the Weapon Retexture Project - WRP mod to work. I installed it manually without using FOMM and the new textures didn't appear, it was still the same old guns. So I deleted the mod and installed using FOMM. ArchiveInvalidation is turned on when I'm installing the weapon texture mod. It installed and I go in game and it's still the same old guns. Now this is driving me crazy because I have other mods installed, and they're working fine. Here is my load order btw. FalloutNV.esmProject Nevada - Core.esmProject Nevada - Cyberware.espUHNV.espNVWillow.espNevada Skies.esp The last mod I had installed before this one was Nevada Skies and then the Weapon Animation Replacers mod. The mods worked correctly and I was pleased, but then I tried the WRP mod and it did not work. :\ Any suggestions? RaulMasterMechanic
Okay, so is it appearing as a giant red exclamation point, or is it switching back to the vanilla textures?
termin8or123
It's just switching back to the old vanilla textures. Every time I tried to apply this mod it would only just show the vanilla textures.
termin8or123
Anyone out there who can help?
Sunnie
It "sounds" like you are not putting the modded textures in the right path. Check in your data/textures folder for another folder called "textures", or in your fallout new vegas folder for a "textures" folder. Either of these will confirm they are not in the right path. I looked and I'm installing it in the right directory. There is only one Textures folder in the NV Data Folder. And that is where I need to unpack the mod to. The mod has two folders, meshes and textures, so they just go right in the data folder. So it's still not working, any other suggestions?
Sunnie
Only other thing that would cause that ( i believe) is that you don't have archive invalidation turned on. Open FOMM, click on tools, and enable Archive Invalidation.

Open FOMM, click on tools, and enable Archive Invalidation. I do have it turned on and enabled. The Fallout_deafault.ini has the right settings setup for Archive Invalidation, bInvalidateOlderFiles=1, and it has the right archive list. As well as the Fallout.ini & FalloutPrefs.ini in the FalloutNV folder in my games. Everything is setup correctly.
Sunnie
If you don't see ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa in your data folder, it isn't on. If it is there and it is on, then I don't know what else to suggest. Could you, by chance, be looking at the wrong in-game item?
termin8or123
I know I'm looking at the right in game item. I have a 9mm and that's supposed to change, as well as other guns that were supposed to change, nothing. And I'm using FOMMS ArchiveInvalidation. FOMMs bsa is in there. I've also used the ArchiveInvalidation in the top 100 dls section of the newvegasnexus site. Both aren't working. But I've downloaded a texture mod that has worked before; it was called Detailed Normals. So what is going on?
