lukashisuphola
Thanks for the reply Ben, but just used CCleaner recently and did all the rebooting computer and everything. And it did not see or remove the folder that is/was in question sadly, so trying to do a whole reinstall now; THanks though. (and ya CCleaner does seem very fast :) ) . deu58
If you get the game up and running with fomm again then as Ben said make a clean back up of your data folder. The hidden folder was most likely always there. Hard to tell with the recent update but I would say that it is a 99% certain chance that it has always been there. Generally when you remove a game and then reinstall there are no problems but every once in while you get a problem and then those files also need to be removed.. That was the problem I had when I tried to reinstall the game I mentioned earlier. I had done it before with no problems and then all of a sudden it did not work any more when I tried to reinstall. Some times when reinstalling with old files still left behind files and file paths become corrupted. This is because with those particular files you are not reinstalling them but instead over writing them. Sometimes the over write is corrupted and then problems start. As to your graphics problems yes it sounds mod related. As Ben said you should make a clean back up of your data folder before you add any mods to it. lukashisuphola
Ok THanks for all the help everyone especily deu58, it actually seems to be working now just had to delete the FNV folder in my User it seems as I had thought just wasn't sure of issues it may have caused if any. The Folder itself is now no longer hidden so guessing that might have actually been an issue though if deu58 and some others or all others are kinda odd (AppData/user obviously remain hidden). I know I should have probably copyed and pasted data folder some where withought FOMM, but wanted to make sure it was all working. Thanks again, I will post if I notice any more issues all sudden here and reply to any new comments still.
deu58
Hey that is great glad to hear it. Maybe you can helpout some of the folks over in the FOMM thread now that are having problems. :)
lukashisuphola
Thanks again, though after all this I have lost a great deal of the umm motivation and everything that I had to do all the moding editing along with all the downloading of mods and everything.. So I have another question for you is FnVEdit really needed or can you get away with just carefully downloading the mods and using FOMM to change load order for some of the big mods when needed? As said Long ago both me and my dad played with mods without issues, I even used quite a good amount and we had no issues beyond some of the standard FNV issues. But than after downloading the set of big mods that changed the looks of many things, nv alive, and some monster adding one and couple minor ones had MaJor issues that from what I read could have been avoided easily with FnVedit... Really don't want to have to use it.., so is it possible or is NV basicaly now designed to be fully used with it?
