Merc Base at Searchlight Airport.

I was thinking about different kinds of player homes and I thought I would share what I want for a home. I think that the Searchlight Airport is a perfect spot for a Merc base of operations. Now the idea I have is not to just make a player home, although that would be included. My idea would be to make a whole new faction(or use an existing i.e. Talon Company) that would be subordinate to the Courier and give them somewhere to live. The base would have course include an armory with a weapon shop/vendor. It would also have defensible walls and kill zones. Basically it would turn it into a fort. My idea basically turns the Courier into the leader of the merc company, so naturally the player home would need to be the tower.. I don't expect anyone to make a mod for me, but I thought I would share what I thought a really awesome mod would be and maybe somebody would agree and decide to make Fallout NV a much cooler place to be.

I've played through once already and I never went to the searchlight airport. I'll check it out tonight and start the merc base. You need some else to make the mod to have a band of mercs. I'll make the base guards player faction ,they won't follow you off the base. Security will be 25% human 75% robot. Snipers and eyebot patrols, if an enemy is spotted a robot commando response force will be deployed to that location. I'll add vertibirds but think about a vertibird transport mod for your travel or calling in troops to your location. I think there is at least one mod on the nexus for vertibirds already.
